Set Up MetaMask Wallet

STEP 1. Get Ready for Installation

1–1. Visit the Official Site Go to https://metamask.io/download.htmlarrow-up-right ※ Make sure the URL is correct to avoid fake versions.

1–2. Install the Browser Extension

  • On the homepage, click the Chrome icon

  • Click Add to Chrome

  • Then click Add Extension to complete the installation (After installation, you’ll see the MetaMask icon on the top-right corner of your browser.)


STEP 2. Create Your Wallet

2–1. Launch MetaMask

  • Click the Get Started button

  • Scroll to the bottom of the terms page

  • Check the box to agree to the terms

  • Click Agree

2–2. Create a New Wallet

  • Click Create a New Wallet

  • Then click Continue with Secret Recovery Phrase


STEP 3. Set Your Password & Seed Phrase

3–1. Set Your Password

  • Enter a password for login

  • Agree to the security info by checking the box

  • Click Create Password

  • Review the next info page, then click Get Started

3–2. View Your Secret Recovery Phrase

  • Click Tap to Reveal Secret Words

  • Write down all 12 words in a safe place

  • Click Continue

📝 What’s a Secret Recovery Phrase?

  • It’s a set of 12 English words used to restore your wallet.

  • Never share it with anyone. If lost, you can’t recover your wallet.

  • Do not save it online. Use offline methods like paper instead.

3–3. Confirm Your Phrase

  • Select the 12 words in the correct order

  • Click Continue

Finally, choose whether to allow anonymous data collection to improve MetaMask. Click No Thanks or I Agree to proceed.


STEP 4. You’re All Set!

Your MetaMask wallet is now ready! Connect to various decentralized services (DApps) and manage your NFTs and tokens with ease.
